The high rye mash bill is front and center and the 114 proof provides a little heat as one would expect. Notes of faint vanilla, caramel, hints of cinnamon, and fresh tobacco. I enjoy Red Man so this was a no-brainer for me, but enjoyable. If you enjoy the company of some spice with your bourbon, this spirit checks that box. The price is right in my area of Texas and this bourbon continues to be a regular in my liquor stock.
