nose: strong butter with slight vanilla palate: the butter and vanilla carry over with hints of dried fruit and banana finish: leaves the mouth quite quickly with a slight bit of spice really solid whiskey, not offensive. nice to sip on and in comparison to the cask strength, not nearly as strong and potent. both are great whiskeys but i prefer this as a casual sipper
