Im now past the shoulder had it open for about 4 months this is a few drops of water.
Very interesting whiskey. Nose salty carmel pretzel with chocolate raisons. Lovely aroma. Its not subtle. All the abv is in the finish. Up front is soft youndont get the abv at all. Mid palate is light and carmel honey, seeet prunes and raisons. Finsih is long ginger spice, coffee like bitterness. Pleasant finsih lingers for ever and changes to brine mint, distant peat or tobacco. Its a really unique layered whisky thats very fun to drink.
