Nose - a mellow but complex mix of fruits, baking spices. Has a sherry forward nose. Sweet smelling and pleasant! A soft nose, with mild spicyness. Tongue -sweet and mildly spicy! A mouthful of christmas cake in liquid form. Notes of apricots, rum soaked raisins, cinnamon, star anise and licoriche flavors. Leaves a fresh feel in the mouth. Has an oily mouth feel but the finish is too short. If the finish was long, this would be a really highly rated scotch in my books.
