Nose: strong, robust peat. Strong maritime salinity. Very dank peet reek, iodine. Palate: lively, bighter. Strong peat is balanced with a citrus note at first that transitions to a more savory tone that hits with toffee, cinnamon, and a hint of chocolate. mid palate is creamy, and a bit fruity. A bit of Orange zest and honey the more i drink it. Finish: full and lingering. Slight tongue numbing effect and a back of the throat heat. A bit mossy and ashy. Almost a smoked pine/lapsang souchong note.
