For a product that is triple oaked, the aromas on the nosing come through very muted. Caramel, and artificial vanilla are the dominant notes but oak is present in the background. A wine note is also present reminiscent of that found perhaps in Angel's Envy bourbon. On the palate the caramel makes itself very known with the spices gently warming the throat. Brown sugar, vanilla, and toffee are also present. The finish is medium to long which was unexpected as the offering is only 85% APV.
