Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

nose - big grape, classic bourbon notes of oak, vanilla, carmels, subtle spice
palette - that grape follows through up front, slight sweet corn, vanilla, caramels…
finish - a little quicker than i’d like with the sweetness up front, leaving mostly that oakiness, a hint of candied sweet grape, and some peppery spice
overall, a very pleasant experience, the usual, enjoyable bourbon sipper you want, with a bit of that grape sweetness thrown in. solid if not overhyped, but understandably so with the history behind it
