A bit of a bite then sweet, toasted oak and a bit of caramel. It's a good pour but personally my problems with this one is that for me $45 could be spent on Makers Mark Cask Strength or plenty of other bottles than this. If this was $35 or lower this would be a decent recommendation I could give.
