In 1988, Ailton Fernandes decided to found Cachaça Meia Lua e Lua Azul, on the Meia Lua farm, in Salinas, in the North of Minas Gerais. At the end of 2019, it was renamed Meia Lua Destilaria, a very ambitious project derived from the incorporation of the Premissa and Unna brands. Today, the distillery stands out with top-notch products. Success was the result of hard work and effort in the search for the best quality. At the same time, Beleza de Minas cachaça was produced in this still, a superior line aged for 3 years in Bálsamo and the result was a high quality distilled drink with the typical passage through barrels made with Brazilian wood called Bálsamo with a citrine yellow color, notes of green tea, anise, fennel, herbal touch, integrated alcohol, elegant but with a striking personality and long aftertaste.
