Nose- alchohol and a strange earthyness.
Not much.
Palate- starts thick, sweet cherry wood, a tinge of vanilla frosting, the artificial type. Mid and finish start to dry out and feel like a rye. Spicy dry cinnamon disc. The start kinda lingers and stays sticky on the end. The sweet and sticky and the spicy dryness seem to fight each other and then settle into one another.
I think this is a not so bad rendering of a classic. The sweetness is there of the OG but the older brandy finished whiskey adds some interesting dynamics.
