Nose- a deep caramel, some burnt orange and heavy barrel char. Ethanol was almost non existentaftwr 20 minutes of rest
Taste- initial hit of sweetness, burnt sugars and caramel bun. Followed by wet oak and a grassy note that reminds me of a high rye bourbon. Nice spice level to boot. Really well balanced and drinks below its proof
Finish- long finish with baking spice, orange zest, cinnamon rolls and barrel influence lingering
Thoughts: so damn good. Killer balance of sweet and spicy with just the right amount of oak influence
