Aguardente de Cana Velha de Januária is stored in umburana barrels, acquiring a soft yellowish hue and a slightly woody alcoholic flavor. It is a light cachaça, affordable and easy to taste. In line with the quality standards of the city of Januária, it has the maximum degree and still goes down “round”, without attacking the palate. Perfect for everyday life.
Wood: Umburana or Amburana (same Brazilian wood)
Grad. Alcoholic: 48%
Aging Time: 2 years
Origin: Januária/MG
Color: Straw yellow
Notes: Alcohol are present, dried fruits, acidity are balanced, sweetness, medium finish.
Source:
There is another sugar cane distillate produced in the same region with a very similar label (look the picture). However, there is no information on the internet whether they are from the same producer.
