Nose: Fairly straighforward with a lot of the basic whisky notes here. Vanilla, oak, some baking spaces. There is more complexity here, i can pick up new notes all the time with this. Sometimes ill pick up roasted hazelnuts, others ill get red grapes.
Palate: Oak and spices like cinnamon come through here. Again complexity is nice here, a lot of different flavors i can pick up, like vanilla, red fruit, nuts. For me personally, i get a weird sour tang on the back of the palate that is really off putting.
Finish: Medium finish, and light to medium mouthfeel. Cinnamon and Coriander are the thing i get most.
A solid whiskey thats has a slightly different flavor profile and feel than other whiskeys in its range. I didn’t jive with it a ton, but definitely worth trying.
