I guess I just don’t get Irish whiskey, and I honestly can’t taste most of the flavors others mention in their reviews. This is perhaps slightly more flavorful than the Tullamore D.E.W. I recently tried, but I don’t like this flavor as much, so it’s actually a negative. I’m used to the far richer, more complex flavors of bourbons and rums, and find this Irish whiskey, like most I’ve tried so far, to be way too mild and relatively flavorless for my liking, especially for the price. You can get a very nice bourbon or rum for what this costs.
