With its still located in the city of Barbacena in the state of Minas Gerais, the cachaça was created by Emerson Caldeira Resende in 2007 when his parents, Juscelino Mozart (in memorian) and Gracíola Caldeira, retired teachers, acquired the small rural property. o Sítio Santa Anastácia located in the rural area of Senhora das Dores, district of Barbacena. There was a copper still on the site for home productions. Mr. Juscelino decided to reactivate the still and the first production took place in 2008 for his own consumption. With the death of Mr. Juscelino Mozart in early 2009, productions were interrupted, but his father's dream remained with the son and in December 2017, the son decided to stay closer to his mother and began planning the project followed by its construction. The work was completed at the end of 2019. The distillery now has a built area of around 400 square meters and complies with Brazilian standards and legislation for the beverage sector. It has the capacity to produce up to 30 thousand liters/year and focuses on aging in barrels of different types of wood and sustainable development. The rustic space was built with care and a lot of care, becoming much more than a distillery, but a place where the art of producing a Divine cachaça can be found. The details on the label hold memories of those who studied in classrooms that had this type of blackboard written with gjz and the back label, in turn, features a detail of the glasses worn by Mr. Juscelino. Cachaça Divina D MInas Amburana 700ml is aged in amburana barrels for one year. With 40% alcohol content, the drink is bright, translucent, crystalline and golden in color, in addition to leaving well-defined tears in the glass, demonstrating its quality in terms of viscosity. Woody aroma typical of Amburana, with notes of vanilla and touches of cinnamon and honey, balanced alcohol. In the mouth, it has a balanced woody flavor without the bitterness typical of Amburana, there is a subtle presence of olfactory notes.
