Between the clear waters of Riacho Inhumas and a beautiful buritiz grove, the Reserva do Zito mill is located in Passagem Franca/MA, where Reserva do Zito cachaças are produced. Stored in yellow ipê, European oak or stainless steel barrels, Reserva do Zito cachaças are artisanal, obtained from sugarcane juice cut manually and fermented by native yeasts. After fermentation, the distillation process is carried out in a copper still. Attentive and committed to the sensitive issue of preserving the environment, Reserva do Zito uses solid and liquid waste from cachaça production in a sustainable way. The vinasse is used to irrigate the sugarcane fields and, in turn, the sugarcane bagasse serves as fuel for the steam boiler. Combining the tradition of still art - which passes from generation to generation - with the modernization of equipment and the physical structure of its facilities, Reserva do Zito is constantly seeking to improve its manufacturing process and is proud to present generous and spirited cachaças , marked by the originality of incomparable aromas and flavors.
Aged in a yellow Ipê barrel with artisanal smoking, which gives it a yellow-brown color. Its intense notes of toasted aromas deliver an intense smoke, which balances the smell. On the palate it is quite complex, with a velvety texture and interesting sweetness. Its medium body and greasiness fill the mouth with smoked flavors that evolve into brownish flavors in perfect harmony. delivers in the mouth all the good experience that it promises in the sense of smell.
