Meia Lua is part of the history of Salinas/MG, the national capital of cachaça, and began in 1950, when it began to be produced by Deli Alves Rocha. 1988 was the year in which the heritage and passion for cachaça, passed down through generations, became a reality. Ailton Fernandes then founded Cachaça Meia Lua. With hard work and effort, always in search of the best quality, he took the brand to a prominent position in Brazil. At the end of 2019, Cachaça Meia Lua was acquired by new entrepreneurs and became known as Meia Lua Destilaria. Today, it has several cachaças in its portfolio and maintains the constant search for excellence combined with modernity.
