Nose - peaty, raisinish. Gives off strong wine vibes. There is a mintyness to it. Farily complex nose. Sweet and funky at the same time. Strong sherry hits! After waiting for some time and giving it a sniff i get a hit of red grapes!
Tongue - sweetness from the sherry, combined with medicinal peat. Its like drinking red wine with peat in it. Very unique. Raisins and prunes, with hints of burnt wood and charcoal. I love the aftertaste. The red wine feel is like a semi dry style wine. Much better than the regular laphroaig 10. Love the color! Finish is medium. After letting it is sip, it opened a little and it got spicy.
I prefer the nose over the tongue!! But a really good dram!
