A balanced, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey by Cooley Distillery in Kilbeggan, Ireland from a mash of malted & unmalted barley, aged for 8 years in 2nd & 3rd fill ex-Bourbon barrels, double distilled & 10% of the malt is peated. It has a fruity birth with barley malt, toasty oak, vanilla & a hint of floral, citrus & orange zest notes; while a sweet & woody life adds notes of barley, cereal, crunchy oak, minerality & citrus peel; that leads to a quick & gentle death with notes of malt, oak, pepper & honey.
