A complex, 'Dark Rum by Flor de Caña Distillery at the base of San Cristobal in Nicaragua (Nicaragua’s most active volcano) enriched with volcanic water & aged for a minimum of 18 years in small American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. It has a rich & aromatic birth with notes of oak spice, zesty orange peel, dark brown sugars, dark caramel toffee, nutmeg, hints of cinnamon, vanilla & anise; a dry & full life adding notes of spice, cocoa, dark caramel & more oak; that leads to a long & tropical death with notes of toasted banana, walnut, dark chocolate., oak, leather & smoke.
