An intense, grain-to-glass, American Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Jason Barrett founder of Black Button Distilling in Rochester, New York. It is crafted with a mash bill of 80% Corn, 10% Malted Barley & 10% Rye; then aged for 5 years in American white oak barrels.
It has an aromatic birth of grains, wood, fruit, nuts & spices; while a bold life adds notes of caramel apple, butterscotch, toffee & brown sugar; that led to a spicy death of medium length with notes of black pepper, oak, cinnamon, vanilla, walnut & cedar. December 2023
