On the eye, this had a nice amber color. On the nose, this is unique and disarms you with the rose, floral, herbal tea smells galore. Everything I ejoyed about the almost perfect nose was lost in what felt like the everlasting gaze. The flavor balance was off, with an overpowering alcohol profile and taste that it is unique - though expected with a heavy floral and tea profile. I prefer an earl gray or gold. I wouldn’t give this a zero. Unfortunately, this simply wasn’t my cup of tea today.

haha! i counted 7️⃣ did i miss a pun? (also, you could’ve said “through the EYEs, it had…” & that would’ve been a double. ‘eye’ & ‘through the eyes of ruby’, which is a great underrated SP song btw.) on another note, is this whiskey actually worth it? where is the bourbon sourced from? i don’t think FEW has their own distillate. jw if it’d be worth it. i love finished whiskies when done right, but tea? sounds strange, like a shitty liqueur passing itself off as bourbon whiskey. anyway, i’ve never bought a bottle that was floral forward at all., so i wouldn’t pay more than 30-35 bucks for this w/o trying a sample or having it at a bar, even tho this one doesn’t get sent to bars. on another note- personally, the melon collie logo would’ve been better imo. bc idc much for their newer albums.☹️ however, i love finding an actually exceptional finished bourbon. there’s a great irish whiskey from teeling; their single malt that’s finished in 5 casks … ever since i bought that bottle after i nursed it for a while, it changed how i see whiskey. i decided to start trying to find finished bourbon whiskies that reach an awesome end product in the secondary cask. two companies/distilleries that what comes to mind are bardstown bourbon co., & then crafts, like fiddler, lux row/daviess co., etc etc.. since i can’t afford eagle rare 17 or even the good single rickhouse stuff from WT—or afford the *good irish whiskies that are finished (like yellow spot, which is $120+) i’ve gotta find someone who likes & tries a lot of finished whiskey in america.
