On the nose: Corn, caramel, bit of vanilla and...liquor, but not alcohol if that makes a lick of sense! Palate: Dry..barely, more of a hint. Oddly sweet bitterness/astringency. A flash of a small burn, like a bit of bacon grease that grazes you. Finish: Long, but low intensity...here the bitterness lives on and on, way past its expiration date. For the price... I'd buy it, especially if I haven't had it in a while but its not a keep on the shelfer to my mind. 2013 vintage.
