A complex, Welsh Single Malt Whisky by the Penderyn Distillery in Wales, United Kingdom made using a pot still created by Dr. David Faraday. Penderyn Legend is the younger sister to the core Penderyn Madeira Single Malt. It comes off the same still & is aged the same way — first in Bourbon barrels, then finished in Madeira Wine casks. The difference is that the Legend is a bit younger & is bottled at 41% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of while a rich life adds notes of pepper, ginger, malt, tangerine, crème brûlée & fresh biscuits; that leads to a spicy & roasted death with a hint of spice cake & rye.
