Nose: Vanilla, caramel, burnt sugar, masticated bananas, and a mild amount of pear mixed with a wild amount of spice resulting from the high proof of this whiskey. Considering the proof, this does drink hot but is full of flavor. Caramel, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and some bananas coat the roof of the mouth with sweetness with just the lightest amount of spice. This is a beautiful offering from Jack Daniels and well worth the money. Worthy of the chase as it is not available in my region.
