Nose
It changes through the weeks as you empty it. Give it time. The bottle definitely opens up more and more. Green apple and nectar as you first crack it to some more bourbon like smells. Hints of some young oak and toasted marshmallows are there.
Pallete
Sweet upfront and an earthy bitterness on the finish. Kinda like an Unripened pear. More oily than you would expect. It has a smoothness to it but not as smooth as Jameson.
Finish
It lingers for a good 40 seconds. A weak brine coctail of tannins and a slight rum funk. Not a fan of the finish.
