The nose starts with a burst of peat, vanilla, cinnamon and oak. It has a smooth creaminess to it, almost like a spicy creme brulee. It is wonderful to take in, building anticipation for a sip.
The palate is very full with peat, pepper, cinnamon and oak bursting with flavor. Vanilla smoothness comes in behind to ease the sting as the mouth fills with flavor. It takes on a bit of a chew as it becomes almost savory.
The finish is medium long, spicy and chewy as the mouth staus tingly. Its absolutely delicious in the simplest way.
