A balanced, Rum from Guatemala made with local sugar cane, fermented with a proprietary yeast strain, then aged in ex-bourbon, European oak & ex-rum barrels before 25 different blends are used to create this expression.
It has an aromatic birth with notes of nuts, honey, chocolate, dark brown sugar, fruit, hints of smoke & pipe tobacco; while a rich & elegant life adds notes of dried fruits, anise, oak & molasses; that leads to balanced death of medium length with hints of vanilla, coffee & honey. October 2020
