This bottle was a gift from some really great people. Thank you so much. Your generosity means a lot to me.
This dram is probably as high of the high end stuff as Guy like me is likely to encounter. That said, the Macallan 18 is plenty inviting. Gentle aromas of coffee, toffee, orange peel, and the vaguest hint of camphor. It tastes very smooth of the same. Almost no burn on the back end.
I felt bad adding water drops to my first sampling so the second and third (upon which this note is based) had none.
