I have seen this a often in my local liqueor store but I have never bought it until this weekend. I was first introduced to Blackand in Louisana with their gin offering which was very nice and the bottle is nice enough to be a decanter. On the website there is not a lot of information, and it is a blend of bourbons. On the nose this is soft with notes of vanilla, caramel, and hints of sweet corn. That is the first time I have found that in a whiskey. The body was better than I expected for a low proof whiskey with nice vanilla sweetness. The finish is much long than I would expect but that is a good thing. In cocktails like the Old Fashioned and whiskey and coke the whiskey holds up very well. Overall, this is a nice whiskey that is not easy to find in my area but I think it is worth trying. Enjoy.
