An elegant, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey by Mitchell & Son in collaboration with Midleton Distillery in Ireland. It begins as classic Green Spot matured initially in a mixture of ex-Oloroso Sherry, fresh American oak & ex-bourbon barrels, this Green Spot whiskey is then finished in the ex-Château Léoville Barton Bordeaux wine casks for 12 to 24 months. It has an aromatic birth with notes of wild raspberry, a hint of potpourri, crab apple, honey & gingerbread; while a balanced life adds notes of green apple, vanilla, redcurrant, muddling spices, toffee & lemon curd; that leads to a long & dry death with notes of granola & a hint of white pepper.
