Found this rare elusive spirit in the wild.
Gorgeous deep golden brown color. Seems oily.
Nose - a very strong powerful nose! High abv kicks it off! Get a atrong bourbon vibe! Grassy, sweet. Also medicinal, like an ointment. Funky! Super ripe Banana, peach, mildy citrusy. Brown sugar and caramel show up too! Such a different and complex nose! So exited to try this!!
Tongue - very sweet! Get notes of banana pudding. Spicy, probably due to high abv! Coats the mouth so well! Unique. I haven’t tasted anything like it before. A very subtle leathery peaty quality. Not smoky but peaty! Added two drops of water - became more chocolaty! The water really opened it up! Theres a citrusy and salty vibe to it but its still so sweet, Love it! Spicyness went up as well! It is dirty and funky! Not everyones cup of tea. Reminds me of warm breeze and meadowlands! Tastes expensive!
It was a privilege to be able to try this dram! Really high up in my books! A dream dram that makes you think!
