Previously, the alcohol content of this cachaça was 42 (see the previous review I made here in the app). In this batch, the alcohol dropped to 40. See that the cachaça label is also dumb. The current bottle label is totally different from the current bottle label (Compare the pictures between the two reviews). Cachaça Santuário de Minas is produced in Jequitibá, Minas Gerais. It is made using the highest quality standards, with select harvesting of sugar cane, grinding and filtering of the juice. Fermentation is natural, in cornmeal, with the strictest care, achieving the ideal concentration of sugars. Distillation is carried out in a copper still, separating the fractions and standardizing the product. Cachaça Santuário de Minas Ouro 700ml is a drink stored for two years in oak barrels. Light, has an alcohol content of 40%. The name of the distillate is a tribute to the Santuário do Caraça, located in Serra do Espinhaço, close to the municipalities of Catas Altas and Santa Bárbara, as the producer, Thales de Paiva, has been going to the place since he was a child.
