Produced in Patos Minas, in the interior of the State of Minas Gerais, Leblon cachaça has an office in New York and has been owned for some years by the Bacardi group, which at the same time also purchased Banks rum. Before belonging to the Bacardi group, Leblon was already an international cachaça, because although cachaça is a genuinely Brazilian product, Leblon is a premium product created by an American (Steve Luttmann) and aimed at export. Most of its sales are sent to the United States, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Today the brand can be found in 35 countries, including Brazil. Leblon Reserva Especial is the producer's iconic product. It is a premium cachaça produced from a selection of top quality sugar cane, distilled in copper stills and aged in French oak barrels. Cachaça Leblon Reserva Especial is the iconic product containing the best production and aging in French oak barrels in which the XO Cognac Casks from France were previously housed. The result is a cachaça with notes of tropical fruits, caramel, vanilla and spices. Sensory note: amber color, complex aromas, caramel notes, dried fruits, honey, spices, vanilla, integrated alcohol, elegant, prolonged finish. PS: The bottle is only 375ml (normally cachaça bottles are 750ml). So, in a smaller bottle, it’s not as expensive.....lol
