Cachaças Armazem Vieira have been produced on the island of Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, since the 19th century. The construction of the maritime warehouse in 1840, on the seafront in the small bay of Saco dos Limões, was an important milestone in commercialization between the different parishes and camps in the region. The warehouse also traded with the large international sailing ships that docked on the Island to supply themselves with water, coffee, cassava flour, sugar, meat, vegetables, nautical equipment, ship masts (ariribá) and the essential cachaça. In 1983, engineers and mixologists Wolfgang Schrader and Renato Grasso Bollo acquired the historic Armazem Vieira and were fascinated to learn about the tradition in the production of the distillate. Thus, they began their own story with the objective of producing quality Craft Cachaças to place them on the international market among the best distillates. In 1985, they began production and opened a promotional bar with the same name, located in the historic Armazem Vieira building. Cachaça Armazem Vieira Safira 670ml is stored for three years in ariribá and grápia barrels. Light, has an alcohol content of 40%. Drink made for making caipirinhas and cocktails. The presence of grapia wood stands out, where its pungent extract combines with the distillate's congeners. When tasting it, you feel a light cachaça, reminiscent of brown sugar.
