A rich, Agave Spirit by El Cristiano / NOM1499 in Jalisco (Los Altos), Mexico crafted with agave that has been cooked in an autoclave, fermented in stainless steel, then 2x distilled in stainless pot with a copper coil. It is then aged for 11 months in ex-bourbon American & ex-red wine French oak barrels before being blended together & bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of cooked agave, fruit, wood, flowers, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of candied agave, caramel, vanilla & grilled pepper; that led to a peppery death of medium length with a touch of oak & anise.
