American Metal Whiskey

Other Whiskey — USA

Day No.8 I loved the idea of this whiskey being a big car guy. And it's fitting cause in the Flaviar booklet they go on about imagining yourself in a classic Shelby Gt500. What a coincidence! I'm a huge Ford guy and have owned 3 different mustangs. My current one being a Shelby GT350! I'll now digress since this is about the whiskey. Unfortunately, the sipping experience wasn't as elaborate as the car story. The dram was fairly light overall. Not much to report aside from the subtle notes of vanilla and brown sugar. At times there was a touch of butterscotch. But mostly a corn/grain character in the background. It lacked somewhat in body as well. Wish this had more depth. Still worth trying though. Far from a drain pour.
