Glenmorangie 13-Year-Old Single Malt Cognac Barrel Finished Single Barrel Select (2021 Release) is a delicate, Single Malt Scotch Whisky by Dr. Bill Lumsden for Glenmorangie Distillery in Highland, Scotland aged for over 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels then finished in ex-Cognac casks for over 4 years; then bottled at 46% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of citrus, tree fruits, nuts & wood; while a rich & life adds notes of spiced apple, yellow plum, orange oils, buttery biscuits, honey, caramel, vanilla, clove & flaked almonds atop warm pastries; that led to a zesty death of medium length with notes of orange rind, caramelized fruits, leather, oak & cedar.
