I tasted this one at a party. A friend of mine offered to open and it was a very sweet experience. The nose is rich in vanilla, caramel, hints of apple that i could gather and maybe cherry. I didn’t have a proper glass for the nose. On the palate, its very rich and creamy with vanilla, caramel and there’s a little of a spice note there like a sweet anise, but it’s so sweet that i couldn’t figure out what the other tastes were. Overall, for a low rye mash, it delivers the sweetness and it’s not too hot. But it misses more complex variety of flavors. Cheers!
