I went to visit Heaven Hills and was intrigued by this bottle although I had not had the chance to taste it before. But since you can only buy it there, I figured it should be worth it. The color is an amber/copperish color with thick legs and medium body. It feels like medium body in the palate as well, but not too old. On the nose is very sweet at first. Notes of vanilla, mapple syrup and sweet cream are strong. Corn, grain and cereal are present as well. The second prevalent is spices. Nutmeg and black pepper are there and some hints of cloves. There’s also pine wood aroma and a small hint of apple pie.
The palate comes stronger on spices, like cinnamon, pepper and more pine wood. You get less of the sweetness, but still creamy vanilla and more toasted corn.
Overall is a good dram and I don’t regret buying it.
