Nose is the most intricate part of the whiskey with obvious aromas such as sweet maple and vanilla to start off the glass. This would lend the whiskey to be comparable to a lot of whiskeys on the market, if it wasn’t for the third aroma being recognized but not able to be identified by multiple parties along for the ride on this tasting journey. The third aroma (maybe play-doh?), still has yet to be identified and labeled but all have agreed they recognize the smell from somewhere in their life. The palate tastes of cinnamon raisin bread that melds together amazingly with the medium finish that also mimics the palate. Overall the intrigue of the third “unknown” aroma (again, maybe play-doh?) on the nose and the finish of the hot buttery raisin bread, make this a great gateway and amazing “Daily Driver” to the Whiskey drinker.
