A balanced Whisky, that was sent into space to finish-mature in zero gravity. The idea seemed like a science fiction at first but turned to science fact in 2011. It was distilled in 1999 then aged in both ex-Marsala & ex-Bourbon barrels for a 2012 launch.
It has an aromatic birth with notes of pineapple slices, desiccated coconut, toffee, spice & phenolic peat; while a smoke-filled life adds notes of salt, cream & dried apricot; that led to a soft & sweet death with notes of earthy smoke. November 2017 / May 2018 / August 2022
