Ardbeg Still Young, 1998-2006 An intense, single malt from Islay, Scotland, UK as part of a range from Ardbeg exhibiting the effects of age on their wonderful single malt whisky. Still Young represents the second stage, aged for 8 years. It has a birth with notes of rich toffee, creamy sweet, tangy peat, citrus, tarry & smoky bacon; while a spicy & powerful life with notes of cut fruits, citrus. Phenolic, burning rubber & bitumen; that led to a long, hot & spicy death with plenty of smoke, a little brine & fruit. August 2017 / April 2018 / August 2022
