A bold, Rye Whiskey by Gulf Coast Distillers guided by David Pickerell in Houston, Texas; combining Elbon & Brassetto Rye; distilled in pot stills & aged in #4 char American oak barrels. It has an aromatic birth of fruits, grain, nuts, wood & spice; while a bold life adds notes of apricot, honey, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, cinnamon & allspice; that led to a long & spicy death with notes of rye, pepper, oak, almonds, tobacco & leather.
