Nose: caramel, baking spice, maple, wood varnish.
Palate: strong cedar, sandalwood, nice chewy malt. Tiny hint of anise, very gentle smoke and char. A little plum.
Finish: cedarwood, baking spice.
Overall a super unique experience. Not often you find a cedar finished whisky. I cant see myself reaching for this daily, but it has a unique taste and quality that I could see myself having an occasional desire for, enough to keep a bottle around.
