The nose is very mild with a vanilla note front and center. Honey, apple, and a smidge of caramel are also apparent. Vanilla is the key tasting note, but some white grapefruit and honey is also present. It is surprisingly oily for an 82 proof offering and the finish lingers for a fair amount of time with sugars and some mild spice. Overall a very simple bourbon and nothing at all remarkable.
