I'm definitely getting those Jamaican funk and very ripe banana aromas! The first couple of seconds are sweet, but the higher proof kicks in and it becomes less rewarding. 100% this makes for a great mixer for a real Caribbean rum drink. The after-taste is a spicy, short-lived cinnamon followed by the funky ripe banana. The sweetness comes from that ripened banana flavor, so it's not sugary-sweet but more like fruit-sweet. Rating based on neat sipping.
