A balanced, indie Ardmore, finished in a Madeira cask! This was distilled in February 2002 & matured for 15 years until May 2017, when it was bottled for the Chieftain's range by Ian Macleod. 519 bottles were produced. It has a delicate birth with notes of Rum-soaked raisin, Dundee cake, toasted cinnamon, pineapple flambé & burnt lemon; while life adds notes of peppery peat, a touch of honey-glazed ham, cinnamon, ginger & quince; that led to a long & intense death with notes of honied barley & red chili.
