The Nose explodes with dried leather seats and then fades into a deep honey at the tail end. As the Nose concludes and invites the palate, a faint hint of grape/dried fruit sneaks up as the glass is pulled away for the first sip and following tastes. Multiple smells, invite the honey and grape to a more forward forefront while the leather disappears. The Palate brings the sweet grape wine at the front, melded with the honey flavors most bourbon drinkers are familiar with all way until Finish. Upon conclusion, an explosion of spearmint comes forward. This spicy/minty conclusion lasts short but is a fitting finish to this seemingly basic bottle. The most interesting piece of this glass would be the grape forward Nose and Palate, before the honey replaces it.
