Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey

Other Liqueurs — Tennessee, USA

Strong honey notes, full body and caramel after taste but quite “young” in overall presentation. It isnt “bad” overall necessarily but i would argue it is not a whiskey for sipping solo, especially for its price point. What I HAVE found is that it is excellent as a mixer for any cocktail that incorporates whiskey or bourbon along with honey, or need of a caramel flavor. What i have found its primary use is for my Salted honey whiskey salted caramel recipe i make. It is a hit everytime when people can pickup the whiskey and honey notes on the finish. And its addition at the end to the molten sugar seems to cook off any unpleasant volatile flavors and actually improves it. Recipe located here: https://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/salted-whiskey-caramels/f99a3a51-1115-4b69-b291-11b479bba7db Note: use only about 2/3 the water mentioned and replace it with more heavy cream. And heat to “hardball” stage or just above. Your adjustments may need to vary by elevation.
